The Barking Lot Facility Let The Barking Lot be your pets’ home away from home. We serve the Des Moines metro area and offer unique and individualized services including boarding, grooming and spa treatments, and training.

Our staff has over 40 years of combined experience and is extremely talented at catering to your pets needs. We are dedicated to providing an enjoyable, safe haven for your pet to enjoy vacation while you enjoy yours.

Our stylish facility has indoor play areas for both dogs and cats. It also offers unique boarding areas for both on opposite ends of the building.

We are located just south of the Douglas Avenue and 100th Street intersection in Urbandale, behind West Bank on 99th Street.

The Barking Lot is open daily 7 am – 6 pm (M-F), 8 am – 12 pm (Sat) and 4 pm – 5 pm (Sun - boarding pick-up and dropping off only)
