Training

The Barking Lot offers puppy training classes as well as private lessons. Our puppy classes are offered on Monday nights at 6:00pm. We keep our classes small so we can offer more individualized care. Classes are forty-five minutes long.

We cover all the beginning basics: sit, drop, stay, come, and walking on a lead. In class, we also go over behavior problems, potty training, basic health care, socialization, grooming basics and any other questions you may have. It is our goal to help you teach your dog to be a good canine citizen so that you and your dog can have a long and happy life together.

Training classes are 8 weeks long and include a training collar and lead. Classes cost $95.00.

Melissa Forneris is the trainer for private lessons, as well as the owner of The Barking Lot. She has been training dogs most of her life. She has shown and titled in conformation and obedience. Melissa is also a certified Animal Behavioralist, as well as a groomer.
